I’ve never tried pilates, which class is right for me?

Our Foundations class is designed for new pilates students looking to begin their practice, and taught at a gentle pace with beginners in mind. Twist Form is accessible to all levels, and taught at a moderate pace. Read our class descriptions to learn more!

If you have an existing injury or are recovering from an injury, we recommend beginning with a private session for more personalized instruction.

What should I wear?

At Twist, we think of the Tower as an extension of the reformer. Each of our reformers has a tower attachment – two vertical bars with spring options that allow us to integrate a wider range of low-impact resistance exercises into our classes. Our instructors may choose to incorporate the pilates tower into their class flows for a fun twist on any of our class styles.

Where are you located and how do I get in?

We are located in Dupont Circle, at 1606 20th St NW, Second Floor, Washington, DC 20009.

When you arrive at the studio door, please dial our studio using the call box and we will buzz you in. Please note: the call box can be sensitive - press hard! If you have any issues, please call the studio at (202) 290-1275.

What is the Pilates tower?

Please cancel 24 hours ahead of class to avoid being charged. For unforeseen circumstances, please give us an email or call!

What is your cancellation policy?

Wear what makes you feel comfortable. We recommend leggings, joggers, or athletic-style clothes that allow you to move freely.

Do I need to wear socks?

Grippy socks are not required! However, if you choose to wear socks they must have grippy bottoms to ensure you don’t slip on the equipment.
